What is FCADP Psychological Support ?

At FCADP, we understand the immense psychological toll that death row inmates and their families endure. Our psychological support services are designed to provide comfort, companionship, and assistance at every stage of their journey. Here's how we help:

I. Direct Psychological Support: We offer direct psychological support by maintaining contact with any death row inmate who requests it. Simply knowing that someone is there for them can provide immense relief and a sense of hope to these individuals.

II. Penpal Program: Our “Penpal” program matches volunteers with detainees, fostering meaningful and beneficial exchanges that offer a glimpse of the outside world and contribute positively to the mental well-being of inmates. These connections provide emotional support and help maintain a sense of connection and humanity.

III. Family and Friends Support: We provide continuous psychological support to the families and friends of death row inmates. We are always available to listen and provide solutions. Additionally, we offer families comprehensive information about their incarcerated loved one's life, including menus, rules, contracts with private suppliers, and other changes.

Our Project:

We aim to enhance our psychological support program by involving professors and doctors of psychology. Their expertise will enable us to provide even better assistance to those in need, offering valuable advice and guidance to improve the mental health and well-being of both inmates and their families.
